Running Grand Prix at Goodwood Motor Circuit – December 6th 2020!

Join us for a unique opportunity to run Half Marathon, Marathon, 10k or 5k at the world famous Goodwood Motor Circuit, home to the Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival, and enjoy the thrill of running a brand new course and racing your way to a new chip timed personal best on this smooth traffic free tarmac motor racing circuit which includes:
Marathon
20 Mile
Half Marathon
10k
5k
Located at the foot of the Sussex Downs, the track is the only classic circuit in the world to remain entirely in its original form. Goodwood Motor Circuit originally opened its gates to the public on September 1948, to host Britain’s very first post-war motor race meeting at a permanent venue.

Each Mile will be accurately marked out and we have plenty of helpers to keep you quite literally on track and encourage you on your way to that chequered flag finish. This is a lapped course, with each lap being around 5k.
ONCE YOU ENTER YOU WILL RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION EMAIL. MORE INFORMATION ABOUT WHERE TO COLLECT YOUR NUMBER WILL BE SENT CLOSER TO THE EVENT – ENJOY!
The Sussex Snowdrop Trust is a local children’s charity that provides vital nursing care in the homes of local children who have a life threatening or terminal illness. Every donation really does help as so many events have been cancelled this year. The Snowdrop flower is a symbol of hope and the charity embraces the whole family when they receive the news that their precious child is ill.
The Sussex Snowdrop Trust is currently supporting 72 families in the local area. The Snowdrop Care at Home Team are with the families every step of the way, providing nursing care at home, as well as offering emotional and financial support for these families.
The charity is delighted to be partnered with Grand Prix Running at Goodwood and we wish all participants the best of luck!
Goodwood is located just outside Chichester, only 60 miles from London, and 30 miles from Brighton and Southampton.
BY ROAD
From London
Follow the A3 (Junction 10 on the M25) south towards Guildford. About 3 miles past Guildford, at the Milford turning, take the A283 to Petworth, then the A285 to Chichester for about 6 miles.
From the West
Follow the A27 to Chichester. At Chichester, stay on the A27 bypass/ring road. After the only set of traffic lights, take the second exit at the next roundabout signposted Goodwood. At the next roundabout take the second exit.
200 yards after the Goodwood Motor Circuit & Aerodrome entrance, straight over at the roundabout, (brown signs for Goodwood House). Entrance to House is on the right.
BY RAIL
Rail services
There is a regular service from London Victoria to Chichester (1hour 40 minutes), plus the coastal service from Brighton and Portsmouth. Buses or taxis are available at Chichester Station.
